Today, Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor / Роскомнадзор) added Rutracker.org, a popular torrent-tracker, into the restricted websites register. This website is 106th in this register, because there is “an information which distribution is restricted in Russian Federation and it must be deleted in twenty-for hours”. It turned out that the restricted information is a torrent of an unclaimed “Encyclopedia of suicide”. Despite the torrent deletion, the tracker wasn’t unblocked.

Activists showed their disagreement with website blocking near the Ministry of Communications building at Tverskaya 7 in Moscow. For example, “Librusec”, the biggest Russian web-library is now unavailable for almost all users. Even the Ecuadorian host could not help this website.
